Easter: Muffin baking cups - Muffins again at last

Finally Easter, finally looking for Easter eggs... Children's eyes beaming and happy about Easter eggs brought to them by the Easter Bunny. Simply divine! What can't be missing then? Of course, matching baking cups with an Easter motif. Oops, we have just the thing for Easter. A hare and an easter bunny. Yes, it's true, it's not the Easter bunny that hatches the Easter eggs, it's still the chicken, but a very special chicken, the Easter chicken. On our muffin baking cups, everyone can see what it looks like. The secret is out of the bag.

Motif baking cups, or as we call them, decorative baking cups, are an ideal way to see cupcakes with a motto. Fantastic for children's birthday parties or celebrations. And of course, that covers Easter.

If you want to try baking these delicious muffins, here's a super quick & easy recipe:


Black / White Muffins for Easter!

Working time: 20min / Total time: approx. 25min

  • Ingredients (2 portions)
  • 300 gram flour
  • 2 packets custard powder (vanilla :) )
  • 6 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 packets vanilla sugar
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sifted cocoa powder
  • 300 grams butter or margarine --> melt & cool down
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • possibly icing sugar
  • Preparation
  • First sift the flour with the baking powder and custard powder into a mixing bowl, then mix with the sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Add the eggs and butter/margarine and mix all the ingredients thoroughly with a whisk.
  • Pour half of the batter into the muffin tins, mix the remaining batter with cocoa powder and milk and pour onto the batter in the tins.
  • Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 180° for about 25 minutes.
  • It is best to test the muffins with chopsticks to see if they are done.
  • Leave the muffins to cool on a cake rack.
  • If you like, you can dust the muffins with icing sugar before serving.
